Religious Education is a Key Learning Area and is part of the Australian Curriculum for Catholic schools.
Children participate in a Religious Education program in every class based around:
All students are given opportunities to celebrate their faith through class, and whole school liturgical celebrations. This includes prayers, religious assemblies and the celebration of Mass on several occasions throughout the school year.
Liturgy enables the children to have a personal encounter with Christ and further develop their faith in God.
Celebrations may occur in classrooms, the hall, the playground and in the Parish church.
Parents/legal guardians are always welcome to join the students for liturgical celebrations. The Sentral Portal notifies the school community of upcoming dates.
Parents and friends are always welcome at liturgies.
